'POSTERMORPHOSIS'

POSTER PRESENTATION

The Poster Presentation Competition at MedAscend provides a platform for medical students to showcase their research work, innovations, clinical experiences, and public health ideas through structured scientific posters. The event encourages scientific thinking, academic discussion, and effective visual communication of medical concepts.

Participants may present posters under the following categories:

  • Original Research

  • Literature Review

  • Survey-Based Research

  • Innovation & Healthcare Technology

  • Experience-Based / Community Health Posters

Participation Format :

  • Solo and Duo participation allowed (maximum 2 participants).

  • Both categories will be judged separately.

  • In case of duo participation, the poster explanation should be done by only one participant. Questions can be answered by either.

  • Demonstration time for the poster presentation is 3 minutes followed by questions from the judge.

Poster Presentation Format :

  • Participants are required to bring a printed version of their poster during the conference.

  • Poster dimensions should be : 36x48 inches.

  • Font : Times New Roman

  • Poster should not be mounted on foam/cardboard or any sort of backing so as to allow easy display on board.

  • Poster must include MedAscend and Dr.RPGMC logos, which will be shared through WhatsApp groups after successful registration.

  • Details of individual college should be clearly displayed on lower right corner of each poster.

Judging Criteria :

Participants will be evaluated on:

  • Scientific and academic content

  • Poster design and visual presentation

  • Clarity and organization

  • Interpretation of findings

  • Communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to answer questions confidently

 

Important Guidelines :

  • Posters must be original work of the participants.

  • Proper referencing and citation of scientific material is mandatory.

  • Any form of plagiarism will lead to disqualification.

  • Use of charts, clinical images, graphs, and infographics is encouraged wherever relevant.

  • Sample poster will be provided through WhatsApp group after successful registration.
